FAMILY CREST PROJECT

This family crest honors my grandfather’s military legacy through a symbolic blend of strength, sacrifice, and remembrance. At its center is a rose constructed from camouflage patterns, representing resilience, love, and the humanity that endures within the discipline of military life. Traditionally a symbol of honor and memory, the rose reframes warfare through a lens of personal history and respect rather than violence.

The stem of the rose is formed from a rifle and bullets, directly referencing my grandfather’s service and the realities of armed duty. By transforming these objects into structural elements of growth rather than destruction, the crest reflects how his military experience shaped the foundation of our family. The design functions as both a tribute and a reinterpretation of martial imagery, turning tools of war into a lasting emblem of lineage, protection, and inherited strength.
